New account
Well what ever. I haven't added anything for a while and it took me a few minutes to transfer my account to Google instead of blogger, but obviously I got it done.

Lots going on
I'll try to get it a detailed update this weekend, but the regular server is down. It's been a busy week. My company was sold and I am learning the way the new company does things. I had to replace a $20 drive coupler on the washing machine so we could wash clothes. Plus, we had house guests until Wednesday. After they left we discovered a water leak in the house that ruined the floor in our bathroom and bedroom and some more in the basement, and lightening fried our phone/answering machine and the modem on the computer.. but we'll get through it.

My cover has been blown!
OK, today my sister posted a comment on my blog. It is the first comments I've received and my tiny little corner of the cyberworld now has some traffic. I guess it's time to move on or make some improvements.

Wasted time
Today I have spent entirely too much time checking e-mails, checking my eBay bids (I'm stll winning three), and not enough time doing real work.
I will have to do better tomorrow.

My old room-mate Keith
Keith is set to rotate overseas in May. He's regular Army. I thought about him and his family last night in church. I was reminded that I need to give him a call this week before he's out the door. Eli wrote a report on Ronald Reagan last week and I'm sure Keith would get a kick out of that. Somewhere I've got a picture of Keith wearing a fusia doo rag, talking on the phone, and flipping me off! I really need to find it, scan it, and post it.

Communication
Rachel called me this morning, but then hung up before I could answer. I called her back to see what she needed. She said, I was going to ask you a question, but then decided you wouldn't know the answer. The question was, "Do you know where Ashlyn's glasses are?" I, in fact, did know the answer. I responded, "I fixed them and put them on the bathroom counter. I told Ashlyn that I fixed them and put them on the counter."
The lens popped out a few days ago and we were going to take the glasses to an optical shop to have a repair done. I found the time to take care of it last night. The question now, who is the better/worst communicator. Rachel for hanging up on me, or me for not telling her I took care of that job? Or it doesn't matter, life isn't always a contest.
